New apartments for sale in Prague 15

Horní Měcholupy went up on a site where a trade route passed through deep forests. It is said that robbers often hid there and robbed travellers, stealing their luggage, known as měchy. That is probably where the name of the city district came from. The original town was once dominated by a neo-Gothic farmstead, on the site of which the Varta Culture House now stands. Some of the local streets were renamed after northern Italian cities at the end of the 20th century. One of them is Milánská, where the HAPPI Milánská development project will be built. It will offer new apartments for sale in Prague 15 in a quiet location surrounded by nature, offering excellent civic amenities.

Transportation to the centre of Prague is provided by bus routes from the bus stop right in front of the building, which take you to the metro or to the nearby train station. Any official matters can be handled at the Prague 15 City Hall, which is located opposite the project. The locality has a number of preschools and elementary schools, restaurants and grocery stores. There is also no shortage of larger shopping centres in the area: a Retail Park, VIVO! Hostivař, Europark Štěrboholy and Westfield Chodov are just a few minutes’ drive away. The Petrovice Medical Clinic can be reached in just 4 minutes by car.

The biggest attraction of the Prague 15 area is the Hostivař water reservoir with its swimming pool and sports facilities, as well as the Hostivař forest park. You can also enjoy pleasant walks in the Botič-Milíčov Nature Park. For a fun-filled day out, head to the Čestlice water park, 15 minutes away. Active athletes will also have fun on the street workout facilities, tennis courts or golf course. Families with children will also enjoy the playgrounds, the Krtkův svět amusement park and a swimming school.

You can learn a lot on the Horní Měcholupy History Trail, which connects to the Hostivař History Trail. You will discover romantic nooks on it, as well as film locations, natural phenomena, but also fragments of the past. You can also enjoy the sights in the Stará Hostivař urban monument zone, which includes folk architecture of a rural character. The most interesting structure is Toulcův dvůr, originally a Gothic fortress from the 14th century. The area has undergone revitalization and now it is operated by the Centre for Environmental Education of the City of Prague and serves for environmental education and training for all generations.
